Brette Hermann, Patty Coleman named 2023 Emmy Award winners

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Dec. 14, 2023 – Brette Hermann, an agent in our Wayzata office, and Patty Coleman, title closing manager at our White Bear Lake office, were acknowledged with the Emma L. Rovick Memorial Award at a Dec. 7 event.

Established to honor company founder Emma Rovick, the “Emmy” Award is given annually to two people: One employee and one real estate agent who exemplify Edina Realty Home Services’ core values of honesty, integrity, commitment, innovation and community.

Hermann joined Edina Realty in 2008 and is a member of The Hermann Group, a real estate team in the Wayzata area. Her high-volume success in the housing market has made her an Elite Circle member, but she still finds time to contribute to worthy causes and is currently a board member of the Edina Realty Foundation.

“This is Brette’s third year being nominated for good reason—she’s a talented REALTOR® who truly cares for her clients and the areas she serves,” said Greg Mason, CEO of Edina Realty Home Services. According to nominations by her peers, “Brette is upbeat, positive and is always willing to help colleagues at the drop of a hat.”

Coleman has been with Edina Realty since 1986 and has been nominated three different years for the Emmy Award. Both agents and managers value her breadth of knowledge, willingness to help and answer questions, and mentorship abilities.

“Patty is the ultimate professional who goes above and beyond and is a great example to others,” said Mason. According to nominations made by her peers, “Everyone who has had the opportunity to have Patty on their side of a real estate transaction knows and appreciates that she is there for them 110%. No stone is left unturned, problem left unsolved or inquiry left unanswered.”

The Emmy Award winners are nominated by their fellow Edina Realty agents and employees for their excellence in customer service, leadership, team building and/or significant contributions to the industry. This year, there were 47 nominations from which one agent and one employee were selected.

Mason commented, “We are so grateful for what these individuals do to reinforce our culture and the values on which we were founded. They have already left their marks on our industry.”
